International, Cultural and Academic Meeting of Engineering Students (ICAMES)
Since 1994, ICAMES (International, Cultural and Academic Meeting of Engineering Students), which takes place every year with the participation of over 100 students from more than 20 countries across 6 continents, is not only an academic event featuring project presentations and company introductions but also an engineering competition that encompasses campus introductions, city tours, and numerous cultural activities. ICAMES, with its academic and cultural benefits it offers to its participants, boasts a jam-packed schedule and has a special place in the hearts of its participants as an unforgettable week in their lives.
Opening
Concert
ICAMES opens every year with a concert by one of our country's esteemed artists. With this concert, we host over 5,000 guests annually, offering an unforgettable experience to both our international visitors and students.
Presentations
ICAMES hosts students from many different countries each year. Students present their projects to our university's academics. Based on the evaluations of the academics, the best projects are awarded at the end of the week
Cultural Night
ICAMES is not just an academic competition; it is also an international event that offers the opportunity to explore diverse cultures.
Campus
Day
"On one of the most enjoyable days of ICAMES, we set up toys, obstacle courses, and booths from various companies on our campus, offering our guests a day full of fun and a chance to fully enjoy the campus."
Peninsula Tour
Finally, during the Peninsula Tour, a highlight of ICAMES, we take our guests on a journey to explore the historical and cultural treasures of Istanbul. This tour includes visits to iconic landmarks such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, and the Spice Bazaar
